Deuteronomy 8:2 (ESV)
And you shall remember the whole way that the Lord your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, testing you to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.
Dear Nahomi,
Hope you remember me from 94E Shanti Colony. My parents and sisters are now permanent residents in Australia(Melbourne) and I am here still waiting for my Visa which is being delayed for almost a year (what is one year when compared to God’s plan for eternity!!)I have lived in four addresses in less than one year.Luckily the Visa Office is not concerned about this as my main sponsors have a “permanent addresss ” in Melbourne .I don’t actually feel that the Lord is leading me through the wilderness before taking me to thePromised Land like the Israelites but like the psalmist I sing “to pastures green He leadeth me,the quiet waters by.” What I mean is whereever I have stayed people have been exceptionally kind.My school children, their parents and my colleagues have helped me to keep my spirits high these many months.I am grateful to God who has made all this possible.
I have been following your views regularly.Take care
Do I remember you? What a question! Glad you finally decided to go to Australia. After you get there, maybe we can come and visit. 🙂
I hope you have an uneventful move – and that nothing gets broken. Blessings sister.
