Hahaha, you’d have to admit though that the heavily made-up girl peeping provocatively over the gauzy wisp of cloth on the screenshot above is hardly “modest” to a Kiwi eye.
This has a very American bias though don’t you think? Reading it as a non American makes the cultural overlay more obvious.
Example: Wearing all sorts of makeup is rated as “modest”. You have to wonder what they think makeup is for? I think you’d get very different results here.
